I left from Brisbane Airport aboard a Virgin Blue flight, on Saturday afternoon. I have got to say here, that I was as always very impressed with the staff and service of Virgin Blue. Today was mother's day in Australia but I actually celebrated the day, yesterday as my kids had work and other commitments today. They came up in the afternoon and we spent a lovely few hours chatting, reminiscing about their childhood and just spending some quality time together. I talked myself hoarse! It was very nice, having lunch with my kids, I think we talked the loudest and laughed the most of everyone in the restaurant. We're used to being stared at by other diners, so it was cool. We went to Sizzler, all you can eat salad bar, and had a great time ( Read more... )

To all the mom's out there, happy mother's day.

I had a nice day with my eldest daughter who came up to visit and we had pizza for lunch and watched 10 Things I Hate About You. Heath Ledger was so young in that film and so funny. We had a great time.
