A masters in nonprofit management.

I think this is kind of close to perfect for me.  It's a management degree, so I can use it in different ways if need be, and the nonprofit bit helps me to reconcile this thing I've got about doing something for the greater good and helping people.  I think this just might be the solution.

As of today, I'm not going to grad school.  Because 1) It's hard for me to spend my entire life savings on grad school.  Plus moving expenses and apartment expenses and all those other expenses and probably not being able to work; 2) I'm not feeling so confident about my upcoming GRE.  Why oh why is it so freaking hard?! and 3) I have no freaking ( Read more... )

I'm drowning.

The current is much too strong and the fight in me is much too weak.

The sea is deep and endless.

I'm lost in the center, trying my best to survive and not get pulled under.

There is no one to reach out to, no life preserver to cling to.  No one to save me.

I'd struggle, but the current is strong and I am weak.

I'm having a helluva time buckling down and actually figuring out what is I'm going to do with the rest of my life... or even the rest of my academic career.

I think it might be.  Ya know, no time to sleep or eat or see people I like or write fanfic (the important stuff and what not).

But, on the other hand, it would look fabulous on grad school applications and when applying for a real job.

So, we're going to be severely understaffed at work for about 2 weeks.  M's in a play and S is getting her tonsils out.  Of course it's all happening the week that I need days off.
