i've made a decision (at least for this weekend)

A masters in nonprofit management.

I think this is kind of close to perfect for me.  It's a management degree, so I can use it in different ways if need be, and the nonprofit bit helps me to reconcile this thing I've got about doing something for the greater good and helping people.  I think this just might be the solution.

The very good things about the program are that it's only 33 credits, which means half the money, and they don't care what you scored on your GRE!  Yay!

The bad thing is that it's in a city I'd prefer not to live in.  I'm a snotty west-coaster and I don't want to live on the east coast.  And it's 3 hours away from home.  And it's a lot more expensive, which I find super hard to believe seeing as how I already live in an expensive area!

I made this post over a year ago and I feel like I've really lost sight of that goal as I've struggled to find my way.  I think this might be a step in the right direction if I ever hope to achieve it.  I feel good about that.

But, y'all know me and there's a very good possibilty that I could change my mind by next weekend.

Also, why is that everything I want to do requires lots of hard work, dedication, and gives you no money and no free weekends in return?

choices, nonprofit management, grad school
