in a nutshell
I just wrote out this very long-winded post and realized, hey, I've already titled this 'in a nutshell' and that pretty much defeats the whole purpose of this being 'in a nutshell.' So, here's the real 'in a nutshell' post.
As I count down the days to graduation (22 days and counting), this is what fills my time and tries to occupy my thoughts:
Work (2 hours on Thanksgiving now included, thanks to my push-over-ness and Christmas-shopping-habits); School (only 3 finals and 2 papers to go until I am forever done with my undergraduate degree); Volunteering (well, starting 12-1, for school project that's due 12-3, that's true procrastination for you. Salvation Army, here I come! What, exactly, I'll be doing, I cannot tell you. Something with food it is not, I know that much); Party planning (against my better judgement, I'm having a graduation party. That involves throwing together everyone I know. That freaks me out. And apparently people are actually going to come since they're RSVPing. That freaks me out even more); Christmas shopping (oh my goodness, I never start this early and I'm almost done! I'm actually shopping on Black Friday despite almost DYING!!! years ago on the day).
This is what does not occupy my time as of late: Writing. Uh, yeah, worst.updater.ever. I just cannot get myself into the habit again. I'm either too busy or too tired to even attempt. I'm beginning to think I'll never finish All You Wanted. That makes me sad, because in my head, it's all mapped out and I know exactly how I want it to end, I just cant seem to translate that to paper.
So, that's my life in a nutshell. Kind of. Well, maybe it's just a big nutshell.
