Whew, what a week. There is so much to do but here I sit, on the computer. Monday I stained the deck off our bedroom. That took me a few hours. Tuesday I went out with Miss Julie and her kids. We went to Target and out to lunch. They went home after that but Grace and I continued on to Marshalls. G did great even though she was exhausted. We got some Christmas shopping done, thank goodness since it looks like Jeff will not have a job soon. Wednesday I met my mom in RI and she watched Grace while I went to the chiropractor. We had a picnic lunch. A very nice man gave Grace $1.00 just for being cute. I can't believe people do that still, you hardly ever hear of generosity like that. My Poppy used to do stuff like that so it was very sweet. Then Grace and I went back to MA for her 18 month appointment with her doctor. She is 31.5 inches tall and weighs 25 lbs. The doctor cannot believe that we only come in for well-baby visits. I have called them once, when Grace fell off the couch when she 4 months old. Other than that, we have handle any illnesses that have come up. Today I have vacuumed and dusted and talked to my lovely friend Leanne, who I have been playing phone tag with for about a week now. We have tentative plans for October 5th and Halloween. YAY! So now I must go, I have a ton of stuff to do outside. The pressure washer calls me softly "Megan, come use me...the deck won't wash itself....". So I bid you farewell, for now.
