So, now that chemo is over, I've found myself waiting again, like at the beginning of this journey. I had to wait to see the radiation oncologist and for the CAT scan and for treatment planning to begin. Not that I'm complaining, necessarily. Suddenly it's 2012 (okay, more than halfway into the first month) and I haven't updated anything. Not since Thanksgiving. In a nutshell, I started the second drug regimen. Four DD Taxol treatments. So as Round 3 is fast approaching, I find myself both dreading and anticipating it. Why the dreading? Because I know the side effects are going to hang around even longer, and I don't know what that means for my "good days" after I finish the immune boosting shots. I'm down to just about 5 this time. It's simply cancer sucks today because it's not so easy being brave during the day right now. I had a CAT scan and a bone scan this week. The CAT scan drinks were horrible.
