My little sis is in Emergency at the Alfred Hospital. She was jumping on the sofa and landed on a metal knitting needle, which went 20cms into her back. They're apparently waiting on a CT scan to see if it hit any vital organs - kidneys, bowel etc. According to the docs, it's 'highly unlikely' that any object which penetrates to a depth of 20cms ( Read more... )
