The offer I've been waiting for.
$5,000 more than I'm making now with profit sharing.
In a 'real' business.
Where I can get 1% profit share over anything that is more than $450,000. (Shouldn't be hard to do when they're selling malls and apartment complexes.)
Where I am guarunteed not to have bounced paychecks.
SO WHY AM I SCARED TO QUIT?!
Probably because the job has a lot of responsibilities, the job comes with an office where I'll be forced to brush my hair and put on makeup and wear actual office attire. Probably because I won't be able to watch Jericho and Extreme Home Makeover Edition while I'm editing sales brochures. Probably because quitting is one of my least favorite things to do. Probably because it's a change -again- when I've moved to find stability and structure.
Mostly the whole brushing my hair (I really love the bun on top of my head) and makeup (it's expensive and then when I do wear it people say 'oooo, you look good today'!) and actual office attire (hehe... um, I am currently wearing tennis shoes, dress slacks, a silk button up shirt and a hoodie --- NOT appropriate for meeting with investors who are going to be buying malls for tens of millions of dollars!
So tonight I will attempt to grow some balls. Wish me luck.
