(no subject)
I finished reading The Lovely Bones. I loved the book until I finished it. Then I kind of hated it. I think that the author just wasn't sure how to end it. Kind of sad. At least it wasn't some crazy historical romance novel again. I'm attempting to branch out.
Work is going great. My boss comes back to the office from a two week trip in paradise. I'm pretty sure he's not going to be happy with my progress but then again, he's not been able to give me anything to do other than fax him this or fax him that. Which I do with great speed! I get my second paycheck this week. I'm quite excited. With my tax refund and my savings I'm going to pay off a few large bills. Watching three grand exit my checking account will be sad, but I will be rewarded with a Vacation to Vegas. And this time I get to go. Really. Thank God for the stimulus check.
Today. Today I bought 39 pounds of rice. Not that that has anything to with any of the above, but it's nice to share. I found a good buy. Who can pass up $0.25 per pound? I bought everything that was left. I'll have to find healthy ways to cook that much rice. It's not brown rice, but I'm sure that I can still find yummy and nutritious ways to cook it. I'll be like Bubba only instead of gumbo I'll be making some rice. Now if only I could find a good farmers market in this area.
And, last, but surely not least...
I HAVE NO MORE CREDIT CARD BILLS!!! I paid it in full today, thank you. Now if only my education loans and my medical bills would go away I'd be golden.
