Brief Thoughts on The Guild (and 6 icons)
So...the season 4 finale of The Guild came out today. It's good stuff.
I remember being less than impressed with S3, but so in love with S1+2. One major difference is that I watched S1+2 after they'd aired, back to back. That in mind, I deliberately deprived myself of S4 until it was done.
Today, I marathoned all 4 seasons. It was a lot of fun. I enoyed S3 much more when I saw it all at once and S4 was nicely done as well. The finale was particularly fantastic. Apologies to the Team Cawkes people, but I really don't see it. Then again, Team Zabex isn't that much more exciting, though I see some potential for a more grown-up Zaboo and a more grown-up Codex to establish a relationship. Fawkes had some nice snark and is interesting, but I wouldn't ship him with Codex at all. (Full disclosure: I'm Team Rilex, if anyone cares.)
I whipped up a couple of icons as the inspiration came to me.
