more than the required amount of flair
As some of you may know, I make a habit of collecting various buttons, pins, badges, and patches (see also: pieces of flair) and plastering them all over my favorite trenchcoat. (You can sort of see it in my default userpic.)
Well, the beloved trenchcoat has developed an ever-widening rip in the armpit area. It's always been a bit tight in the shoulders and it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. Seeing as it's a bit too tight anyway, I've decided it's time to retire the faithful coat. I've removed all the flair and even cut off the patches.
Now all these pieces of flair are feeling a bit useless.
I'm trying to decide what to do with them (and any new piece I might collect).
