Well. It's been a... bit? Since the last one of these I've done.

America's reached 17000 comments, Rita's reached 1500, and Ezio is just shy of 1000. So, in honor of that...

ASK ANYTHING MEME

Ask me something and I will reply and ask a question in return. So goes the circle! ♥

Do a relationship meme for Rita and Raven?

Rita has a certain level of respect for all of her castmates that goes beyond just about any new relationships she’s formed in Camp. She is more comfortable with them, because they’ve been through hell and back together, and they’ve managed to open up her shell. Raven’s unique place in that is that he’s gotten her to admit that she would be affected if one of them ever died. Because Raven basically forced that realization on her, she worries about him a lot, even as she’s punching him. She knows that he won’t do something that crazy again, but there’s always the possibility…

As she’s opening up more in Camp, Rita is becoming more aware, I guess you could say, of the lengths that she would go to for her friends? And more aware of the fact that they worry about her too. Like, the fact that she died and worried her friends, besides the fact that she died which is difficult for her to come to terms with anyway, has her more inclined to be nicer to them. Because she understands the turmoil, thanks to Raven ( ... )

Raven was so upset when Rita died. I mean. Surprisingly upset, even more than he would have expected. The idea of Rita for-real permanently dying was something he really literally could not deal with, so he spent the week she was dead steadfastly not even considering that as a possibility. Raven has spent so long expecting to die soon (or planning to die soon) that the idea of his friends dying before him is inconceivable to him, especially Rita, who is the youngest (in camp at least) and smartest and honestly probably the one he worries about least, normally ( ... )

Oh, Raven. ♥

Outside of Tales, period, Rita speaks to Ryuunosuke the most. Basically, that relationship is pretty much entirely Rita being tsun and Ryuunosuke being extra dere to counteract that. Despite Rita's best efforts, she really likes him now! Though she'd never ever admit it.

Lloyd is the other new person she's been talking to a lot. She has been exceedingly tsun at him, guilt free, because he can take her typical unfriendly attitude. So, this makes it easy for Rita! She basically loves people who can take her tsun.

Naoto is another one, though Raven introduced Naoto and Rita! But they can be super smart at each other. This is great for Rita, since she still likes having smart conversations, you know?

Three things that Raven's learned since being in Camp?

Relationship for America and Ema?

America genuinely likes messing with Ema. She makes it so very easy for him! Though he wants genuinely to be friends with her, he also enjoys being a bit of a dick about teasing her over his profession. Really, it's just playful teasing. Please don't throw any snackoos at him. Those hurt and then they fall on the ground, so he can't even eat them. :(

But given America is somewhat bad at dealing with other people, he oftentimes doesn't know how to deal with Ema? He views everything through the country-vision, so it makes it hard to basically not... respond with very self-centered answers! So. He's still very clueless. BUT HE WANTS VERY MUCH TO BE YOUR FRIEND, EMA. WE COULD BE THE BEST OF PALS. If only you gave me a chance!!

Ema and America?

Ezio's opinion on Spain hasn't changed too much since last time! He still thinks Spain's a nice guy, though a little loopy in the head thanks to that whole country thing. He may be a little concerned about his friends-- because he wasn't too fond of Romano the one time he met him. (You would think Romano would be grateful to the guy who rebuilt Rome! Go figure.)

What is one thing you wish I would do with any of my characters? :O

TSUN GENIUS MAGE COLLECTION ♥

Lloyd's feelings about Rita are very uncomplicated! He thinks she's a bit of a jerk, and kind of annoying, but a good and kind person. Also, kind of adorable. It's a type that he feels very comfortable with, because a lot of the people he loves best are abrasive and abusive and smack him around and cast magic at him when they're tsunning. So the insults and punching and fireballs don't really put him off except for making him go YOU JERK. OH MY GOD, YOU SUCK, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.

Like I said in chan, she reminds him a bit of a tiny angrier Sheena, so he's a little more inclined to be protective of her than he might have been otherwise. Mostly he just enjoys her company.

How self-aware is Rita about how off-putting her personality is, how much she gets along with people, etc?

She has always been aware to some degree about her lack of social skills and has even cultivated her sour disposition, but for a long time she considered herself above the need for friends. It took Estelle steadfastedly ignoring Rita's tsun for Rita to realize that she actually wanted friends.

She's a lot nicer than she was before, though. Like, I find it's hard trying to balance how much she's changed with her natural tsun attitude? Basically, she still gets easily flustered, but doesn't intentionally push people away like she used to. She likes talking to people and teasing them and being friends with them.

So how aware is she? Kind of painfully so sometimes. She tries, but bad habits are bad habits that are part of her personality now.

If Lloyd could say one thing consequence free, what would he say?

Relationship for Ezio and Kotoha? ♥

Reply

Ezio adores Kotoha! Seriously, tiny ninja is tiny and has wormed her way into his heart. He enjoys talking to her, even if he recognizes that sometimes he talks over her head, and sometimes he doesn't understand anything about what she's saying. But it's still fun, it's still a good conversation for him. And it's definitely making easing into being a full 500+ years into the future easier.

So, yeah, she has a man with enough weapons to supply a small army willing to mafia for her, should she ever actually need it. And maybe one day, he'll challenge her to hide and seek, to see if she can actually find him by feeling alone. I mean, it is sort of alarming to him, but at the same time amusing because he's never really had anyone be good at finding him once he learned how to blend.

So, yes. ♥ He is fond of her, and impressed with her ability to sense him in some way and is willing to mafia for her should she actually need it. He doesn't think that she will, but just in case. And he will enjoy making up a code with her.

Kotoha on Ezio?

Kotoha loves Ezio! He is actually the person she's felt happiest around that hasn't been a literal family member or a Shinkenger in (at least) a very long time -- which helps, because she doesn't have to think about being separated from them again when they leave Camp when she's with him. He's interesting, and could teach her a lot if he felt like he wanted to (and she would certainly learn as much as she could if he did), but more than that he's just a very fun person to be around and Kotoha likes people who can make her smile. ... which is most people, but you know. Moe.

She's already become very protective of him, but because she knows he can take care of himself, she wouldn't just jump to defend him unless it was obvious he needed it -- not that that would stop her from going into defensive tiny samurai mode, but she wouldn't actually do anything. She'd mafia for him, too, which by extension probably means you have five or six more people willing to back you by sheer force of puppy eyes association ( ... )

Well, Ezio's easy! He's going to go fight Rodrigo Borgia and be officially inducted into the Assassin's Order. Because, hilariously, at this point, he hasn't been inducted just yet. IDK, MY BFF UNCLE MARIO?!

America is going to get some McDonalds. And probably head to one of his major cities-- New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin... Hell, maybe he'll go on a complete road trip. And if he got out soon, he'd begin planning his Superbowl party.

Rita will probably go stay with Estelle for awhile, because she's a little clingy when she wants to be. And she really enjoys Estelle's company, even though Estelle's here. If she goes back alone, she's going to spend all her time trying to figure out how to rescue everyone else.

What is the one thing your characters miss the most about home?
