Raven was so upset when Rita died. I mean. Surprisingly upset, even more than he would have expected. The idea of Rita for-real permanently dying was something he really literally could not deal with, so he spent the week she was dead steadfastly not even considering that as a possibility. Raven has spent so long expecting to die soon (or planning to die soon) that the idea of his friends dying before him is inconceivable to him, especially Rita, who is the youngest (in camp at least) and smartest and honestly probably the one he worries about least, normally.

Raven likes talking to Rita because despite being young she can more than hold her own with him, both intellectually and smacking him down when he's skeevy. And he's gotten used to relying on her genius to know what do do with even apparently insurmountable problems. Raven loves Rita! :D

The big thing Raven is learning in camp is really that... he can help people? By which I mean he, specifically, can help them. Raven knows a lot of people he admires a lot, and while he knows in principle that no one is infallible it still sort of surprises him when people need his help. He's not very confident in himself in general and particularly not with his party, after he betrayed them and all. But he's getting better! And doing stuff like worrying about Rita is part of that. :x

On a more general note he is seriously so happy that Rita is back. His mood bounced completely the other direction when she turned out to be okay. Right now he is pleased with life and everyone in it and all his problems seem suddenly silly and insignificant. |D

...Ugh this feels really disjointed and I'm not sure I quite got to whatever my point was, but w/e.

Tell me about some of Rita's relationships outside the cast. :|a

Oh, Raven. ♥

Outside of Tales, period, Rita speaks to Ryuunosuke the most. Basically, that relationship is pretty much entirely Rita being tsun and Ryuunosuke being extra dere to counteract that. Despite Rita's best efforts, she really likes him now! Though she'd never ever admit it.

Lloyd is the other new person she's been talking to a lot. She has been exceedingly tsun at him, guilt free, because he can take her typical unfriendly attitude. So, this makes it easy for Rita! She basically loves people who can take her tsun.

Naoto is another one, though Raven introduced Naoto and Rita! But they can be super smart at each other. This is great for Rita, since she still likes having smart conversations, you know?

Three things that Raven's learned since being in Camp?

1. How to talk about things! I mean, he's still working on this one too. But he actually explained to Naoto the whole thing with Schwann in relatively simple language. Eventually. Perhaps some day he will learn how to start friendships without first hitting on people and/or lying to them for a while.

2. I feel like I should put some more mundane learning on this list, but I can't think of anything specific, so this is a general catch-all for time Raven's spent reading and on the internet in the past year and a half. He has actually done quite a bit of it.

3. ...That he enjoys making out with guys on occasion. Or at least Yuri.

Top three things you want to do with Rita! Specific things or general goals.

1. Have her build that jet pack!!

2. I'd love to get her involved in a Camp-wide plot one day. Especially one that involves discovering things.

3. A partner CFUW game. I would love that with her.

So, what was Raven's biggest shock in Camp?

Man idk. When he first got here it was just him and Yeager. That was pretty shocking. Or, more generally, that camp doesn't seem to really care about death.

Pimp Assassin's Creed at me. I have only seen like the first hour of the first game, although I know the basic outline of the story.

Well, I will always pimp things in a very unbalanced way (in that I love the CRAP out of Ezio's games), but to pull some of my favorite clips...

This one is from Brotherhood, and basically shows like. How much of a puppy Ezio was, while showing how badass his sister is. And it's got the first Cristina memory in it!

And this is a walkthrough of the Battle of Forli, so you can see how BADASS Caterina Sforza is in this game:

If you like strong women, I think these games do them well. Of course, it may not seem like it because the games focus pretty heavy on Ezio, but it's nice to see that Courtesans are your allies and that they have a very useful skill set.

And you don't bang them to get better.

I WILL WATCH THOSE IN A BIT, when my connection stops being too flaky to load anything. :/

Well I definitely think you should play Mass Effect if you haven't! ME2 in particular is tied with Vesperia for my favorite game at the moment. It just. The dialogue is amazing and the combat is a lot of fun, and the way your decisions affect the plot is pretty unique. Also, incredibly adorable alien romance options! (Okay that link is just Garrus, who is one of three options for a female Shepard, but he is my favorite.) Also, alien Gilbert and Sullivan? I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Also all the characters are great. It's hard to pick a party because you can only have two teammates at once and everyone is TOO AWESOME (and fully half of them are badass women).

Other than that idk. I haven't gotten into much new lately.
