He needs a name...
Ok... So after a conversation with my father I must report that the boy was born with a name.
So, Simon set the way back machine to a couple of weeks before August 9, 1969.
William (or Bill) and Hildreth (or Mickey) were sitting at the kitchen table with their friend Josephine (or Josie) and the subject of the child's name was being discussed.
Mickey was adamant that this child have a name before he was born and so announced that if no other name was found he was to be called Parker.

Sounds like someone who makes parks. Like "Hey, we need a park here, do you know a good Parker?"
Well there was no way that Bill was going to allow that. He and Josie were given the task of naming said Parker.
After about five minutes of thinking they came up with a very nice sounding name, Mark David.
So on August 9, 1969, Mark David Smith was born.
And the world was a better place for it.
