Ok so I am going to take a break from my life story to as that question.
I watched the State of the Union last night with my 11 year old daughter. (On the condition that she didn't yell at the T.V. that Bush stinks) What I saw was a much down played Bush telling us many things but I would like to comment on his plan for Iraq.
Or what?
We need to increase the number of troops. Fine we are at war I really can understand that.
What I am wondering about is the list of things that the Iraq government has to do in a certain amount of time.
Bush gave a whole list of things that Iraq must do but he never explained what would happen if they didn't do those things.
They must increase the size of their army and police... Or what?
They must secure Baghdad... Or what?
They must help secure the rest of the country and bring Radicals in line or wipe them out... Or what?
What happens if Iraq never does any of the things he says they must?
That has not been answered.
Until he does... well if you want to know how this plays out look at Viet Nam in the late 60's and early 70's
