Happy V-Day
Aaaah, Valentine's Day. The holiday that singles hate and most everyone else loves. I've never been a big fan of the day myself, because it's never exactly been kind to me. But I must admit, I'm rather happy about it this year.
Things are great between Amanda and I. We're just chugging right along...going on 10 months now. I know I don't mention her on here often, but that's because there isn't really any conflict between us. We're so right for each other that there just isn't much of interest that I feel like I should bother sharing. But rest assured...I'm happy, she's happy, and that's a good thing. :)
So anyway...to those of you who like 2/14, I say Happy Valentine's Day. And to those of you who despise it, I say Happy Monday!
In other news...hockey season is almost over. (Yeah, I know, the NHL season never started...but I'm talking about college hockey.) Our final two home games are next weekend, the following weekend is the conference tournament in Springfield (Illinois), and then that's it. As much as I love the games and the team, I'm ready for the season to be over. I'm so behind in writing people, it's insane. I look forward to finally having some time on weekends to write folks I care about. Soon!
