This is the Krieghoff Big Five Classic chambered in the venerable 470 N.E. cartridge. The "more pictures" link is from a gun shop over near Toledo. I might just have to drive over and have a look. That gun is probably worth more than my Element but I would love to own one anyway and then one day go to Africa and hunt cape buffalo up close and personal. I mean close, none of this scoped rifle at 200 yards stuff. I mean thick grass at 20 yards, close enough to smell them, even better if it's done stopping a charge. Hunting cape buffalo that way the gun is simply putting you on supposed even ground. I figure to hunt such a critter you got to put your life on the line to do it properly, especially if your only going to do it once in your life time.
Yeah, I have probably read to many Capstick novels but we all have to have dreams!
