Mythbuster acknowledge AR15.com on the POAT myth?

So in all my amusement last night with the Plane on a Treadmill episode of Mythbusters and watching the storm of excuse form the still unbelievers on AR15.com's forums someone on the forum posted proof that the Mythbusters actually silently acknowledge the AR15.com forum as (a major) part of the storm of controversy on the internet. I commented on this at arfcom when they were going nuts about it. I don't think it's a real nod to arf. The mythbuster guys are tech geeks, and hang out on the web, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are at Arf, even possibly as paying members.

But, they are movie special effects dudes. That is a Paintball gun. Paintball guns have dozens of uses in that line of work, and I think it just happened to be in the shot. Now, I didn't see the show, so perhaps everyone is so excited because the camera swung out of the way and lingered on this ar-15 looking marker. But, I think arf just went into zomgwtfbbq mode on this one. There is also an R/C boat lying there, I bet there is a R/C Forum going nuts right now as well. ;)

I'd like to think (doesn't mean its true) it was a real nod to AR15.com and the R/C boat group. Given that its CA a real AR-15, especial the 30rd magazine is likely hard to own legally and thus the use of an AR-15 styled paint-gun. I could be wrong but the Mythbusters do give acknowledgments (in the credit scrolling at the end of the episode) to Dillon Aero and Mr. Dillon himself for use of a mini-gun in the shooting fish in a barrel myth. I would like to think that Jamie and probably Adam are supporters of such pro second amendment groups as Dillon and AR15.com.
