Next time I say something nice about the copper country weather, someone please remind me about being out in FRICKING JUNE putting plastic on my garden because of frost warnings. IN THE WIND. Hopefully the wind doesn't rip it all off before the sun comes up tomorrow morning.

The boys and I were crabby on Saturday, so we drove down to our farm and hiked up to the Douglas Houghton falls (which are no longer open to the public, but our property borders them). Just got back from visiting a friend in the hospital.  There are a million wasps out, but not a bee in site.

I have to go out and turn the vegetable bed over and mix in the manure.  I put the plants out on the porch to begin to acclimate.  I'm still not putting the plants in until the first weekend in June.

It's officially spring!! YAY!

Waterfalls are flowing, I saw 2 robins yesterday and 5 Sandhill Cranes.

All that, plus a predicted high of *70* today means it's spring. Next week, we'll have another snow storm... but for today, it's officially spring.
