I read Rachel Maddows tweets pretty regularly and she mentioned something about John McCain being in an odd place with a link.  So I clicked over to John McCains twitter feed which says:

Had a great visit to Erbil - met with Kurdish leaders and visited the Citadel - still a lot of issues between the Kurds and Arabs.


Uh... yeah.  Big surprise there.

The AP says Jennifer Granholm is visiting the White House and is on a short list for David Souter's seat on the Supreme Court.  I have found her to be very limited in her thinking, not working well "outside the box" and ... well... whiney, which drives me crazy.  She passes the litmus test of being pro-choice and anti-ID, but I do not think she'd ( Read more... )

This seriously sucks. 

One of the few Republicans I've had an inkling of respect for since the Clinton impeachment is switching parties.  Senator Arlen Spector of Pennsylvania is changing sides.  He's always been one of the most moderate Republicans.  And I've appreciated him (if not often agreed with him) since he voted "Not Proven" during the Clinton Impeachment.  He's ( Read more... )
