(no subject)
today i moved a lot of furniture and ate ice cream and played dodgeball at work. i've been trying to do group games every night with a different house and it's been going well (sort of). last night, as the kids were transitioning back to their house, a kid punched his staff in the face twice. i'm hoping that the game didn't heighten his agression. tonight, i had to follow a kid because he kept leaving whenever his staff talked to him after he was pegged in the head by that particular staff. then he "cried" because i wasn't his staff anymore. i gently informed him that i was never his staff in the first place. he then went into the "whhhyyyyy did you leeeeeave me?!?!" at this point, i walked away. way too much drama. (the kid was fine)
i'm liking work just a little less nowadays. we have to plan and do special recs all the time. and i don't know what to do with the kids because the special rec has to be centered on something that will last 4-6 weeks and it has to be something that 4 kids will want to do for 4-6 weeks. sigh.
also, i had a nosebleed today. randomly.
tomorrow is saturday (thank god). though, i am dreading trying to plan 5 activities.
