whoa two days in a row. amazing.
well, i visited adrienne in aldie, va today. i didn't even know there was a place called aldie, but sure enough. we spent most of the day in sterling and some other towns like brambleton and ashburn. northern virginia is weird. our goal was to find furniture and by gum, we did. adrienne has many options now. furniture shopping made me want to buy my own house. nothing fancy, just something small i can call my own. and i can paint the walls all sorts of colors.
then we went to the leesburg outlets. i didn't spend as much money as a thought i would- about $80 in all. plus a birthday giftcard for my mom. not too bad for me. then i splurged at the crazy toystore and spent $70 in 3-d mazes, little golden books, memory games, and a "yardarang."
my mom called me three times while i was out. my dad called me once. i think they miss me. i haven't spoken to them in a week. nor do i feel like talking to them. and i don't know why. but my mom senses something is wrong. i feel like i'm angry with both of them. but i don't think they've done anything out of the ordinary. oh well, i'll work it out.
adrienne and i also saw sweeney todd, which was one of the oddest films i have ever seen. i love tim burton so naturally, i enjoyed the film. but man. i couldn't watch any of the scenes with the arterial blood spray and for some reason, i forgot it was a musical so the breaking into song caught me off guard. it was definitely a film that is unlike any other and well-acted, of course.
tomorrow i'm going to the nutritionist without a record of what i've been eating. i expect to be yelled at. joy.
