I kinda sorta have my internet connection back. If I'm online in the living room, the connection to the network will wonk out every once in a while, and I'll have to reset it. 1. I tried to sell my old iMac PowerPC G4, but was only 30% successful. They were going to give me $150 for it - older model, won't be compatible with latest OS X upgrade - so OK. I got my laptop back this afternoon. They had to replace a RAM chip, and that was all. I lost no data; my desktop looks exactly the same, and they upgraded my OS. Woot! Further proof that there is a god. I dumped most of a big glass of diet ginger ale onto my laptop, and yet here I am typing away on the formerly afloat-in-ginger keyboard.
