I have a week draft but this deserves its own post.
Shocking NEWS, but it isn't unexpected.
Let's go back in time: Johhny and Yamapi with the Warner Executive meeting.
Since Yamapi isn't scheduled to any drama after his Asia Tour, it seems that he's working on something.
He went to LA. Probably the leaking from the songwriter's twitter last week is because maybe (it's my conspiracy theory after all) he thought it was for a NEWS single and he got told that it was for Yamapi, or if you want, for a 4-nin NEWS.
Probably they're only expecting how Jin does in the american market to put Yamapi next in line. Johnny-san has to use the Guinness Record boost on his benefit.
Nishikido made an epic effort working for two groups in seven years. Being this the Eito year made more difficult to schedule NEWS activities. I mean, if we was going to give answers on the NEWS interviews like "I don't know!", it's a bit of a waste.
And I do like him, don't get me wrong, but I prefer him as the middle brat he is in Eito than the shadow leader in NEWS. At least he's gonna get more sleep and doesn't look like a zombie? Also it would be interesting to know what they're not saying on his stress levels for years. He always said that he'll do it as long as he could but probably him not being active in NEWS just makes less money for the Jimusho or being Eito as big as it is now gave him the chance to choose.
This bring us to another leadless group. Unless Koyamama decides to stop being the Yes Man and lead the kids. And you can't say that he doesn't love the group, so probably he's gonna make it. Or they'll play democacy or use janken for anything.
Too bad that Uchi already gave an official statement of not returning to any of his groups, because getting Uchi back would have helped a bit.
This year is gonna be an awkward Countdown Concert.
But coming next year, probably there's gonna be a NEWS single. As long as JE don't price it crazily, I'm in. And probably will include the mythic Koyashige debut. XD Still, it would be interesting see the new direction of the group. At least Koyama worked a bit in his singing. Last year. And maybe what Shige needs is more self confidence and this change will help him.
Too bad that my OTP (as unreal as it is) it's all messed up, but it would be interesting the development on fanfics as the canon has changed. XD
I'm not much of NEWS music fan but a members fan. I mean, I began watching Soukon instead of the concerts. I'd like to see a second season of Soukon.
As I said on a comment somewhere before, if you like the guys, you'll be their fan even if it's solo or group work. You'll watch the variety or drama, watch the variety shows, or buy the singles.
And I love Kanjani8 and I'm waiting for the next album like mad.
This Sexy Zone kids shouldn't be that hyped about debuting after all.
