Autumn 2011 jdramas scoop!
Before I forget, here's the Autumn Dramas watch list.
OK, it isn't EVERYTHING, I'm leaving out some dramas and the ones that have lasted for years.
And look! I'm not linking to drama wiki. But of course, you can get over there or Tokyograph for better summaries and complete cast lists.
SPs:
FREETER Ie wo kau SP.- Supposedly a view on Nino and Karina's characters relationship. Probably Nino will have to step on something to kiss her but probably we won't even get a kiss. Why we're watching? Salaryman!Teppei (Maruyama Ryuhei)
* Kaibutsu-kun's SP.- They just have to make money while it lasts.
* Marumo no Okite has a SP as well! O.O
OMG, Ranma 1/2 will have an SP!!
* Chouchou-san.- Miyazaki Aoi will be Madame Butterfly. >>;;
Mid season:
* We have Last Money with Nakamaru Yuichi and the guy who was Yamapi's coach in Buzzer Beat.
I'm currently watching Barairo no seisen, in which a housewife (Fukiishi Kazue) with 2 kids finds her worth being a model at 30 years old, because her husband no longer see her as a woman after becoming a mother. Pretty interesting, and it has Kaname Jun, who looks weird with a regular hair cut. XD
Seasonal dramas:
* CARNATION.- looks good but it will be a morning drama, like 85 eps. It's about the life of fashion designer Koshino Ayako ad how she raised her 3 daughters who nebame fashion designers as well.
* Kare, Otto, Otoko Tomodachi.- portraying 3 sisters and their relationship with men. Kaho is in this one
Bitter Sugar, another drama about 3 women in their 40s and how an incident damages their relationship. Ryo is in this one
* Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu.- Girly drama with Karina, Yoshitaka Yuriko and an AKB girl who looks pretty old. But I watched Hanawake so I shouldn't judge.
* Watashi no Host-chan ~Shichinin no Host~.- Rememeber Gira Gira? It's about the happenings at a Host Club.
* Koko ga Uwasa no El Palacio.- Takeda Kouhei is a man who loses his memory in a traffic accident and wakes up surrounded by the women of the El Palacio - a female professional wrestling group. They got me at the wrestling theme, but I didn't finished Muscle Girl, so maybe I won't follow up. XD
* Ore no Sora: Keiji Hen.- Yasuda Ippei is the son of Yasuda Seijiro (Osugi Ren), the head of Yasuda Group, Japan’s biggest business conglomerate. He leaves the position as the heir of the Yasuda Group to be a detective. It's Osugi Ren, people.
* Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de.- The anticipated Sho drama. I'm far more interested on the manga, because the artist is the same of the Asian Kung Fu Generation album covers and of course, was once invited to Arashi no Shiyagare. Maybe I'll watch the first episode, but really, Tokujo Kabachi sucked a bit.
* Hunter.- Yonekura Ryoko as the strong woman who becomes a bounty hunter. Damn, it has Tanihara Shozuke.
* QP.- Takumi-chin will be a yankee lead in this series directed by Takashi Miike and written by the "CROWS" author Hiroshi Takahashi. Will this be the big push Saitoh Takumi needed?
* Kaisefu no Mita.- Matsushima Nanako (seems that she's the teacher of Majo no Jouken) will be a quiet, impassive and cold housewife who also solves the problems at her workplace.
Runaway.- Because The Fugitive can be done a million times. But I liked a lot Ichihara Hayato in ROOKIES, so it was on the maybe list. Now with bald !Ueda in the cast, I will check it out.
Confession: I really thought that it was Takaki Yuuya on Konkatsu and not Ueda Nakai's brother. It must be because they shared the hair dye color. >>;;
* DOCTORS: Saikyou no Meii.- Sawamura Ikki as a mysterious but talented surgeon. Why he's so hot? Sorry but after GM Odore doctor I'm a bit discouraged about medical dramas. Not even for Goro and Ichihara Satomi AND watched Bull Doctor?
Mitsu no Aji ~ A Taste of Honey ~.- Eikura Nana and Kanno Miho will fight for this ARATA guy. If it's a strengh battle, Miho Kanno is so gonna lose, but I love her dramas and even when this role sounds not like her dramas at all (romantic, really?) I'm gonna watch. And please convince me that this ARATA guy is worthy, because Tamaki Hiroshi was on GUILTY, you need to upgrade from that.
* Himitsu Chouhouin Erika.- a female spy drama featuring a housewife Kuriyama Chiaki (who's her?) but this Ide Takuya looks good and Sugimotto Tetta (The vet on Doggy drama) is always a good back up actor.
* Watashi wa shadow.- ANOTHER housewife becoming a detective. I have problems with Fukakyon in dramas, but it has Kiritani Kenta wo DESERVES to make ir big because he's awesome and Fujiki Naohito is there as well.
11 Nin mo Iru!.- The phantom of a deceased wife remains on a household of 8 children, a domestic mother and a jobless father, this is supposed to be about Kamiki Ruynosuke who will be all Yamada Tarou for his family, but I'm more interested in Kato Seishirou as the one who can see the ghost, and the ghost itself, played by Hirosue Ryoko (Tacchon's sister in Yasuko to Kenji).
* Kaito Royale.- an adaptation of a mobile drama with Matsuzaka Tori and Omasa Aya and Fukushi Seiji as thieves.
Youkai Ningen Bem.- Kame's drama based on the anime. Co-stars: Anne as Bera and taller than the lead XDD and Suzuki Fukui as Bero. I hope the song will be somewhere the drama, I love it. XD
Boku to star no 99 nichi.- Romantic comedy about a South Korean star (Kim Tae hee) falling in love with a boring 40 year old man, Nishijima Hidetoshi. Man, I want a boring old man like that. XD
Low point: probably will get low ratings because it share timeslot with Kimutaku's drama. Ooops.
Nankyoku Tairiku, one of the MOST anticipated dramas of the year, with Kimutaku leading an excursion to Antartica back on 1958. Lots of people like Masato Sakai (<3), Nakama Yukie, Ayase Haruka, Sato Ryuta, Yamamoto Yusuke and Ashida Mana among other big names. Probably will watch for the dogs. xDD
So this season will have manga adaptations, lots of spy housewives, dramas focused on women and delinquents or people on the other side of the law. XDD
