I was concerned Pep's vet would want to do another molar trim soon so I was nervous before his appointment. (Most vets put piggies under to do dental work and Pep was not fast to recover last time.) The verdict is that the molars are still a touch long but better than they were at his last visit, so he is doing alright at wearing them down himself and there will be no trim right now. Yay!
I brought his modified sling with us and we demonstrated it, much to Pep's disgust. His vet grabbed a camera and took pictures to take with him to an exotics vets' conference. He told Pep he would be a star, which did not impress him, and that he would help other piggies, which also did not particularly impress him. He refused to eat dried cornhusk with the sling on for his vet, though he'll do it at home sometimes. Should have brought cilantro or basil or at least fresh cornhusk. Bad Mommy Slave. But we all survived and it's good news so I don't care.
