Always me!
Just when I'm having a nice week, my dentist comes along, takes it all away and gives me a pretty good reason to never believe a thing he says. So I broke a tooth back in December and he wouldn't fix it until now. I finally get my appointment, expecting a root canal which is bad enough. He pokes around a bit and tells me that he can't do the root canal because there is too much gum growing over it and he has to get a scalpel and remove the excess gum. Great. So he starts cutting a realizes that no only can he not do the root canal until after the gum gets removed but he also has to remove my wisdom tooth. Which is impacted and totally hidden under the gums. 45 minutes of murderous digging in my gums and the wisdom tooth is out, I get stitches and just a temporary filling. I was supposed to be drugged up and put under to get wisdom teeth removed. *sigh* It'll be a loooong night.
