And so begins week 2 of back to school and I'm none the worse for wear. I must admit that  I was very weary about leaving my Christmas break nest of blankets and knitting in my warm bedroom to return to the cold winnipeg weather and crazy stress of school but right now I'm really happy.

Rings and Fields today was an absolute blast. My prof is so entertaining and she's so genuinely passionate about it all. She's constantly asking questions, making us think and get involved. And with three people, that means you're doing a lot. And what I love about her classes is that I understand everything as she says it. There's no pouring over texts and notes trying to decipher the contents of the lecture afterwards. I've never had a single other prof with that ability. And for an honor's course, that says something. She was joking today that she' s never had an all girls class before and she can now turn it into a knitting course.

Experimental Design there was only three of us. And because the room was missing some sort of cord, we spent half the class huddled around the prof's lap top as he was explaining how to use the new software. We're all twisting our heads this way and that trying to get the glare at it's minimum. The rest of the class was also a lot of us bugging him for his lack of cube drawing abilities. Then he looked a bit sad when all of ours were better than his, lol.

And today I finally got my Christmas present from Ashley in the mail, hooray! Last year it came in March so it's rather prompt. I got The Devil Wears Prada dvd, a notebook and a small photo album with a cd of the pictures from my trip to Calgary this past May. Lots of fun and excitement!

So all and all I'd classify today as a good day and I'm looking forward to tomorrow because I'll finally get my tooth fixed that broke a month ago and the dentist wouldn't fix it until now. Maybe I'll finally be able to sleep with out trying to forget the toothache, hooray!
Have a fantabulous night all!
