Well, a return anyway! I spent the last week in Manhattan with my niece. We ate lots of good food and saw 3 plays. Bought the plane ticket for Readercon! I'm arriving in Manchester at 4:30pm on Wednesday, July 16 and staying the night in batwrangler's guest room. I'm considering giving myself a trip to Readercon as a birthday present. I've never been and always wanted to go. I've bought a membership and reserved a room, but the airline tickets are a nightmare. The cheapest flights at even semi-reasonable hours involve flying into Manchester in Wednesday and out of Boston on Monday. Has anyone done this ( Read more... )

United's flights in and out of Seattle have been becoming more expensive and more inconvenient for a couple of years now. Starting over with a new airline means giving up the Frequent Flyer status I have with United until I can manage to acquire it with a new airline.
