Well, a return anyway! I spent the last week in Manhattan with my niece. We ate lots of good food and saw 3 plays. Sunday morning we had dim sum with a bunch of my friends which seems to have been an unqualified success. 3. The German chocolate cake at B&O Espresso.

4. The bathroom passed its plumbing inspection.

5. My husband loves me and is endlessly patient.

I thought I should mention it in case anyone was wondering. This morning was really dreadful, but around 12:30 I found a moderately quiet restaurant where they brought me a mojito, a good Caesar salad, and an excellent, perfectly cooked, medium rare filet.
