Around and around and around

Dear Blog,

Last Saturday, my wife had to take me to urgent care because of vertigo. It was so bad I threw up. Yay! They gave me medicine and told me to follow up with my primary.

After three days of meds, which make me VERY drowsy (especially when combined with my neuralgia medicine) I saw my primary care physician. She tumbled me back and upside down, and there's somet technical name for what is basically shmutz in my inner ear. So, now I need physical therapy next week. Until then, the world goes around and around and around.

Sufficed to say, I haven't written much this week.

I did discover that the NaNoWriMo site has tools that let me keep counting words and projecting finish dates on new projects. I'm using those to help me get to the finish of my draft of my novel. After a week of writing but feeling accomplished, it's nice to have a word tracker. It makes me feel like I'm getting things done and makes me feel like my goal is in sight. Highly recommend.

Today is the last day of our second week of full distance learning. Tomorrow is one of the scheduled "e days" where kids just work on stuff on their own at home. Those days are a lot easier for me working at home. Two weeks in and I think we've hit a bit of a groove. It's not perfect, but I feel fortunate that we have fast internet and the school provides devices for all the kids. Coupled with me being home, we're much luckier than most.
