In which I succeed at something
Dear Blog,
I hit my #NaNoWriMO word count goal! I think there's still about 20,000 words until I hit the end of draft one. I have a ways to go yet, but I'm still pupmped about it. I think it's the most publishable thing I've done so far. After hitting my word goal, I haven't written much. It's been a busy week as the 3rd and 1st grader have gone Full Distance Learning this week, so I'm just completley discombobulated there. It's going well, but there's a lot of running around and making sure kids are able to login, videochat, watch videos, and upload their work.
Meanwhile, today my youngest son turns 5. He's the baby of the family. I'm out of babies. It's been 5 years since we had a baby in the house. I miss having babies, but I'm enjoying my kids at all ages. Watching him gives me out of body deja vu, especially when he's playing with the new He-Man figures while watching He-Man.
