He doesn't need caffeine. He's hyper enough without it.

Not that it ever stops him from getting a cup every once in awhile.

Tommy leans forward on the table, brushing his white-blonde hair out of his eyes as she reads the paper with interest.

Henh. No prisoners escaped.

The press really needs to work on doing their homework.

It wasn't the ex-con thing, as that place they broke him out of was way shady, but something about the guy felt hinky.

Everybody deserves a chance or two though, so Teddy went ahead and placed the call. Besides, it'd be good to check in with him, and make sure everything was going well.

"Talk to me," Tommy said, flipping open his silver phone. He didn't recognize the number, but he figured that was okay. If anyone had it, it had to be someone who knew him since his recent little bust out.

"Talk to me"? How Left Coast of him.

"Hey, it's Ted," he said, a little awkwardly, but inviting, "Did'ja get a chance to see the Bugle yet?"

"Reading it now." The smirk is evident on his voice. "How pissed off do you think the Avengers will be?"

He knows that the Young Avengers aren't his biggest fans, but they're trying to be friendly, and he appreciates that.

Pissed off? Well, at least that would mean they'd noticed... right?

"Hopefully not too much. I don't think I'd want to get on Captain America's bad-side." Billy could be heard in the background talking about a party later.

"Frankly I'd be more worried about Iron Man."

Tommy can hear background noise over the phone, but not what's being said. "How are things with you guys? You know...after everything?"

'You mean after breaking into a high security government penitentiary to bust out the limited-edition Blond Billy who likes to sporadically blow things up?'

"Good," was the only response that seemed right, or fair. "Billy's planning a costumed party down at the warehouse; it'll be fun. You should show, Speed." Code Names were so fun.

"Of course he is," Tommy replies, raising an eyebrow. He's barely surprised. If anyone, Billy would be the one to throw a party like that. "Thanks, Hulkling. I'll see you there."
