Hi all, I know I'm posting very little these days, but it's because I'm busy having butterflies the size of bats in my tummy about going home. I know I'm gonna miss my boyfriend and all the people here, but I can't wait to see my family and friends again. And it's only for three weeks anyway, so I'm sure all the people from Montreal won't forget about me.
We still don't have internet at home, so I'm writing this from the second cup on the corner (as always). There's only me and one more person here, but that old annoying man has managed to hog the entire internet so I had to wait more than a minute for this page to load. Way to be inconsiderate downloading so much for hours on end. I know I've done it sometimes, but I'm only doing it until my internet gets fixed at home. And I don't care if he has a good excuse, I really wanted to watch one episode of something, but nothing works and I don't have a tv. It's driving me mad. TV is my way to relax after a busy day, and he's depriving me of it. You know what's not relaxing? A tv-show running for 4 seconds before buffering continuously. I'm happy that old people are becoming internet-savvy, but can't he be internet-savvy at home? (/end rant.)
Anyways, I posted on a community if there were any writing groups in Montral and since there weren't, we made one. Five people showed up for the first meet-up, and though it was a little awkward, I think it's going to be great. We're meeting again on Sunday.
Training is going okay. I've been sick for two weeks, but now I'm hitting the gym four times a week doing a bodyweight program with Andreas. It's a lot of fun. I'm closer than ever to a pull-up (don't give out on me again neck!). I'm excited to see where this goes.
Well, I guess that's all that's going on. I'm writing every day now and I plan to have a working first draft ready by the end of summer. It's gonna be hard work, but I'm ready to work hard to achieve my dream!
