(no subject)
Other than the ass that left a comment on my last entry, I feel much better about things. I over-reacted in some situations (so did Rach, hehe) and well, things just fixed and adjusted themselves. Time seems to do that really well. (So does a good conversation with a very good friend.)
I am slowly becoming obsessed with the band Elefant. I haven't stopped listening to their CD since I bought it with Dannie. Dannie's Matt listens to them and I didn't think that I would like them, but lo and behold, I enjoy their album tremendously.
My classes are over for the day, but there is still much to do. I have to read in Soc, quite a bit, talk with Dannie, print out some more bio presentations, go soliciting with Rach, and figure out the other portion of my collage for drawing. It will all get done...hopefully.
So last night Maeghan totally gave me some information that made me stutter. American English is playing in Peoria on Friday. For everyone that doesn't know, this means that Young will be in town, here, on Friday. The same Young that I met and spent time with over the summer. The same one that I totally bonded with that was way too old for me. Aw, hippie Young. Makes me smile, but also me nervous. I want to hear him and his band play because I love the Beatles, but I kinda don't want to be recognized just because I don't know the reaction I will get from him. Nothing bad happened, I just would rather stay afar and enjoy it like everyone else. I'm sure that if we go, that is what will happen. Megala really wants to go I think, and Rach would be game...I would drag Dannie along for some more moral support, and well, why not? They are apparently an awesome tribute band, and well, it's Friday night and something different to do.
Rach's birthday is coming up on the 19th. Her family is coming on the 18th to celebrate it and I think that before they come, on that Friday, I should throw a party. Maybe get someone to get us some wine coolers (for rach) and beer (for me) haha and have a little shindig in our room for the girl. Maybe do a dinner before out at Red Lobster to keep tradition and then fun in the room? What does everyone think?
Oooo, something else very exciting!! I finally talked to Yael on the phone last night and we made a date for us to go to UofI!! Right now, are are thinking of heading over there on the 23rd! How fun will this be!? We get to stay in Kappa Kappa (ha Riemer) and meet all her sisters and see Gut, LaCassa, Jenna, Emilie!!!, everyone!!!! How fun!!!!???!!!!
