(no subject)
I would like to just say that I am very proud of Rach and I. We got sooo much done tonight for HFH, our room, and our tummies! We went to dinner at Panera (always a favorite), had a great conversation there, and then headed out to make our rounds in the Greater Peoria Area for Habitat. We hit up Target, Best Buy, Landmark Bowling Alley, Old Chicago, Joe's Crab Shack, and the RiverPlex. Gotta say that we found them all flawlessly and were quite happy that we navigated everything so successfully. We got two businesses to donate on the spot, two we are following up with calls on Monday, one we have to email, and one we are following up with a call tomorrow. What a night! It just seemed really long...
Then when we got back, all I wanted to do to end my evening was shower. Lil ol' me forgot that there was a major whipped-cream fight tonight with the girls on our floor, and by the time I got ready to shower, all of them were taken. I waited a good 20 minutes in my towel until I was able to make it in the bathroom without getting creamed. I was a little peeved, but I lived through it, with the help of Rach and the Golden Girls.
I have a long day tomorrow, but I am looking forward to finishing my collage in art. I am really enjoying this class. My teacher is tremendously chill and well, he lets us actually be creative with our work. What a refreshing change!
Alright, time for crunches and then I'm off to bed.
