Were I to thank someone for this knowledge, it would be urbandictionary.

I knew about whatevs, totes, obvi, and ridic. However, I did not know until today about:

- hilar
- inapprope
- obnox

In other news, people were right: episode 6 of Dollhouse didn't suck. I wouldn't say it's totally brilliant, but it was pretty darn good. Enough for me to regain a bit of faith in Lord Joss for a while.

Lost, on the other hand, is the bestest best thing ever. The last few episodes have been so effing good.

Upon recommendation, I have started reading Anathem by Neal Stephenson. It's been a while since I've delved into a big ol' epic fantasy/slipstream novel. The thing is huge. I'm not far enough in yet to be able to give any opinion. All I can say is that Mr. Stephenson is an intricate world-builder.

I updated my Librarything. Hadn't done that in a while. I also friend-added an author on there named David Mitchell because naturally I assumed it was the man, but he messaged me and told me he's a totally different David Mitchell who wrote some autobiographical account of something. Ah well.

joss, books, words
