My Kindle arrived yesterday! I am very very excited about it!! Adam is a good gift-buyer. I never would have bought a Kindle for myself, but I totally love having one. The first book I'm reading on it is Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!, which is okay. I love that you can download the first chapter of a book before you buy it, to check it out. I had a very busy weekend! I spent most of my time with Ranae, Ceone, Josh, Monica, Trent, and Adam, or some combination thereof. I also rode my bike a lot (like, all along the seawall on Friday night, and then out to Iona Beach in Richmond on Saturday), and I got a pretty bad sunburn on my shins. I feel like I didn't get the right introduction to PKD when I was younger. Probably a lot of people don't. You watch Blade Runner and then decide you'd like to read the book, which is totally not like an 80's violent cyberpunk flick at all. The book is very, very different from the film.

Pandemonium is making me want to read more Philip K. Dick. I did get A Scanner Darkly recently, so I can make that happen. I also got Consider Phlebas in the mail today (it only took more than two months for them to ship it).

I may have had party overload this weekend. Up till 4am on Friday night, then 5am on Saturday night. Still feeling a bit under the weather this morning. Urrrrgh.
