Woahhh long weekend. You know what was weird? The actual confirmation service was wayyyy fast. But the whole weekend was crazily long. Last week was normal, just the wrap up of school things- and then Friday nite after school we had the dinner at temple. It was a nice dinner, chicken of courseeee, cause its jewish. Then the robe changing ceremony, which was nice. Luckily i didnt have to hold anything, so I was fine and dandy. Then, we had the actual service which was... laughable. They made us stand up and turn around to sing to the people, from our seats at the front of the sanctuary. And Matt and I got to be in the back. Which meant, when we turned around, we were in the front, and singing at everyone sitting in ther row behind us. Then Oseh Shalom was actually really really cute. Matt is adorable!!! Yay for songleading, even if we're off. Then Matt's house for the sleepover. Ok, funny funnyness. 1) Mike and Amanda hooking up 3 inches away from us, on Matts bed. 2)The boys sneaking in and listening to us having our random conversations. Clinically depressed boobies, that "itch", underwear, or lack there of... lol it was great. Zoolander, of course, and LOTS OF FOOD. I think we scared his mommy. In total, Marissa, Matt, Leah, Heather, Jess, Mike, Amanda, Emily, Josh, and David were all over. It was like wayyyy fun. Morning= WAYYY toooo much food. But it was so cute, Matt's mommy is the best.
Saturday I went shopping with my grandma. We had fun, and we saw Jess and Rabbi Jessica at the mall. Funny, bc 20 minutes later we were all at temple for the rehearsal. The rehearsal, lasting 8 hours, was like this- retarted people not getting up, funny people doing funny things, annoying people being annoying, people i love making me laugh, me walking off and away, IHKFC has spawned anew, and yes. Then dinner at Cantor Ann's house, that was nice. And March of the Living video. I hope i can go, i really really really want to, but ahh its such a lot of time out of school, im not sure if i can. Then we went back to temple and kept on with it all. The 2nd times through it went better. Then we did Havdalah and reflecting in the Rabbi's study, where we've been almost all year long. That was nice, and really, I had a great time with my friends. Yay Jessica's car, i loveeee it.
Sunday, we woked up early, and went to temple. Pictures, weird ass hair, and funness. Warming up, and getting wayyy nervous. Pretty flowers, and wheee down the aisle. And it was fun. Me in my snow beast outfit. But really, i actually didnt mind the whole thing. The little blessing part was so adorable. Like actually fun, the whole experience.
Then we didnt do a party. Because friday night was enough to kill anyone. But it was really nice that everyone came, like kt rach em whit etc. I'm actually glad that i went through with the whole confirmation thing. Mommy's going to take me guitar shopping soon! I'm wayyyyy excited.
Now we have like 4 days of school left, and 2 exam days for me. Im doing bio and spanish by choice, cause they're the 1st two exams, and thats awesome. I wonder if im gunna miss this year... it sure was interesting. Or not. Or yes it was.
Oh and finally- my obesity paper is handed in, completely, 100% DONE. and thank god, b/c that paper just blew a lot.
Also- any ideas for tuesday night? I don't have anything to do.... Must, have, organized, planned, and chaperoned events, ahhhh.
Oh yay, me and grandma are going bra shopping. Exciting, huh?
