A new house war
Mice.
I can't describe the content of my bread drawer. Just thinking about it nauseates me. They even started partying on my counter tops - Bean's gingerbread house had a break in. :P Mothballs haven't worked. Went with old fashioned traps.

The hole by which I thought they were entering the house is still plugged up. The other hole is behind cabinets so some thought will be applied to blocking that pathway; regular traps will be involved for a while. There's a hole in the cabinet under the sink and the process of cleaning that out (yuk) and blocking the hole will be a serious task. Mostly due to the cleaning (yuk).
Our ultimate goal of decluttering the house and getting cats will probably turn their attacks into mere guerrilla efforts.
