Wow, weird night. I've been really tired at night all week, so I went to bed around 10:00 pm to read. Around 11:00 or 11:30, I turned off my light to go to sleep. It was then that I noticed my upstairs neighbor's water running. I've been noticing this a lot over the past week or so. It's right over where my toilet is, so I guess it might be her toilet running. I try not to be a nosy neighbor, but we're in a water shortage!! It ran for hours and hours last night! I fell asleep around 11:30 or so with it running, and woke up around 4 am (something I never ever do) and it was STILL running. Definitely not a shower. I couldn't go back to sleep for the longest time, and had just resolved to get up around 5:30 when I dozed off. I think I'm going to call the complex office later and tell them. I don't see how she can sleep with it running like that.
In other news, I've been semi-productive today and finished a calculation I started yesterday. I'm not entirely convinced it's correct, but it will make my advisor happy if I get to see him today. Now, if I could just take the rest of the day and type up my paper I want to submit for publication, I would be happy. I've been putting off learning how to use the template for this paper, but enough is enough!
Hope everyone is having a great day! It's like 70 degrees here in the middle of December. Crazy.
Time for lunch!
