Just when I thought I'd make it through the flu/cold season without catching a flu bug, I was proven wrong! As per my last post, I was already feeling the effects of said flu bug...it was not a happy feeling. We got our new license plates in the last week. Scott got his 2nd choice, "OLDCROW"(He wanted Crow.) And, after another week, I got MY 1st choice...."AKANE" :) YAY! So, even though I didn't turn in my license plates when I left IL back in 1997....I still got my 1st choice. :) I was worried they'd have either reissued or made that particular ( Read more... )

Today was my first hosting of a tea party. Since I had never hosted one before I wanted to have help hosting. And graciously both rachelsibio and lschicky accepted as co-hosts. Yesterday was a very full day for Jason as he had not only his first day of pre-school, but also a Gymboree outing.

Well, on Friday, we went to Costco to do some shopping. We got the same belgian waffle maker that my brother Marc has for a mere $38.00...woowoo!
