It's snowing AGAIN right now. At least a 1/2" is on the ground over here...bodes well for skiing this weekend. Yes, I am going skiing, gonna be interesting AND painful after Saturday. :)

Went to Gymboree with Emily, then, after that, I started my long string of errands. It was kinda tough hauling Emily around, but I actually enjoyed being able to shop freely as I did when I was single. :) I went to Costco to stock up on supplies, then, to OfficeMax to get some supplies for Jason's class, then, I went to Starbucks and got a Espresso making set as well as a pound of Decaf Espresso. Then, after that I went to Portillos, got some lunch, and a gift card for my friend Roderick, then we went to Card and Party Outlet and I got more stuff for Jason's class' Valentines Day party. :) After that, we went to the house, I ate, then, I took Emily again with me to Super Target, bought my pastry blender, a pizza stone with a rack, and several other items we needed. Then, I went to Jewel/Osco down the street and deposited a check into the TCF acct and picked up some "berry juice" for Jason. Then, I was done. Then, oldcrow mentioned he wanted to go to Fry's tonight....to pick up a new Maxtor HD cause his last Western Digital HD may die...so, it was off to Fry's we went. I am happy cause we picked up a rice dispenser and storage box and Dead Like Me Season 1 for $31.99. Yay!! Anyone up for a Dead Like Me marathon? :)

Tonight, we went to eat at the new Claim Jumpers in Lombard, IL. It was good, but kinda expensive. I had a B&B Burger and oldcrow had a Chinese Chicken Salad. We had a zucchini appetizer, it was very good. :9 We tried their ginormous chocolate motherlode cake....it was okay, but still not as good as the Chocolate Zucotto Cake of Maggiano's. :9

Emily is really starting to move around....she is doing that scooting back motion as well as being able to go from her stomach to a sitting position pretty well. I suspect she'll be crawling quite a bit and adeptly by the time she is 10 months old. :) My cousin's daughter, Maya, is crawling pretty well now and almost standing on her own.

Tomorrow, my friend Roderick is flying over from Cali to visit and ski. :) It should be fun!
