so...studying (as is everyone else) for my test in the year long course called Heritage of the Western World
i have been working on the study guide dilligently since monday. i just finished it. the exam is tomorrow morning.
its intense. good thing i dont have to take one exam and the other my professor decided to send us the exam with the answers. this week is going to be phenomenal after tomorrow.
i love my liberal arts school. i dont have to waste time like i did in high school learning about things i wont have to use in everyday life. i love that next year, since i am not a science major, i can take a course called how things work that teaches me about clouds and volcanoes and get my science credit. i love how i can use everything i learn in all of my classes in everyday conversation. i love learning about things that are relevant-and that if i dont choose to, i dont have to learn physics or chemistry or calculus or economics. its all engligh, religious studies, and anthropology. all the time. victory.
i love how the entire schools curriculum is based on mr. helf's philosophy of learning how to think and not worrying about the right outcome of a problem.
my goals for christmas break are:
work and gets lots of money to pay back my parents for everything i have spent
play my guitar more
learn spanish (or at least refresh) before i have to take it next semester
hang out with mia bass. a lot. :)
other than that, no plans. still debating on something that i want to attend but figure i shouldnt. i have realized that i was a nusiance in homewood, i have come to terms with it. sure it was mostly my fault because i was psycho--but that part wasnt my fault entirely. i dont know. i think ill just lay low and be with my family the whole time. haha thats funny too though. its debateable.
