Some quotes from an Exalted game I'm in.
The Fire Aspect sorceress gets kidnapped by a Yozi cult, the party is told:
Dawn: Ondolee called over to Chaos. "Hey! Why do I care about the scalehead again?"
Zenith: "She's paying for your drinks."
Dawn: Ondolee's arms suddenly flexed as essence coursed through them. He turned on his heel, letting his fist connect hard with the door.
ST: The door is now a thousand of splinters.
Eclipse: "OH MAH GAWD! ...We'll have to PAY for that!" D8
GM as cult leaderr: As he leads you through a small corridor, you come to a circular room with a pentagram on its center, in the middle of it, there's a creature you know as Blood Ape.
Fire Aspect: "Oh I see you have a mascot."
GM: Dance and Haze, you hear the firedust explosions down the door Ondoole went through, you also hear screaming voices utterly in pain.
Eclipse: Haze takes off running in that direction. "ONDOLEE'S BEING MEAN TO PEOPLE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" DDDDDDDDDDDD8
Dawn: Ondolee looked up at the altar, then to the mortals around it. He gave out a loud cough, then an obnoxious yell. "I'm looking for a scale head! A woman! Yells a lot! Kind of a bitch! She's...a fire aspect, I guess."
Cultist: "Surrender now, or die"
Eclipse: "I don't wanna!" D8
OOC comments during the rescue:
Fire Aspect: (crack team that's been assembled...)
Dawn: (I'm in no mood, woman! Get back in the room with the creepy old man and wait for us to save you!)
Dawn: (We are putting Keahi on a leash)
Dawn: (She is not to leave our sides)
Dawn: (EVER)
We're looking for a guy named Crimson Tempest in Sijan, which lead to the following conversations:
Fire Aspect: "Why are you going to cause trouble in a temple anyway? I doubt this is the kind with virgins."
Zenith: Chaos pauses. "...ARe you sure it's not?"
Eclipse: "We need to find a place with low air pressure!" ^_^
Zenith: "....Air pressure?" Chaos looks confused. "How... what does that have to do with anything?
Eclipse: "'Cause if you want to find a tempest, that's where they'll be blowin' too!"
Eclipse: "Wait...you can speak to the dead here. And the dead speak back. So...what happens if you're buried alive. Then you can't speak to anyone! OH MY GAWD, THOSE POOR PEOPLE!" D8
Dawn: "......................."
Dawn: "You know what, Haze? You don't have to worry about any zombies eating your brains."
Dawn: "I think one already did it."
Planning a hiest on the Empress's tomb (she's officially dead in this game):
Zenith: "the better news is, this practically confirms that the Empress's body is ripe for the picking."
Eclipse: "That sounded kinda dirty..."
Fire Aspect: "You're right, we want people thinking the opposite of us. The bar fight though...and no one will believe that Ondolee is interested in any art. Look at him. He's filthy!"
Fire Aspect: "We have some time to think of something." She rubs the back of her neck.
Eclipse: "I'm thinkin' of chocolate pastries now." ^_^
Dawn: "If the officials get any kind of wind that I was involved in causing a disturbance in the city...like a bar fight?"
Dawn: "Woosh..." He made a wave of his hand. "Empress and all her shiny things will be gone."
Fire Aspect: "Or just your head."
Fire Aspect: "I'm going with Tahn in investigate tomorrow. It's strange that a dynast would only have one escort. Since he needs to be undercover anyway...but we'd need clothes for him, and acquiant him with soap and manners."
Zenith: "I trust you are able to do that?"
Fire Aspect: "I have a dress for me, nothing for him...and that's before we get into the problem with manners."
Dawn: Ondolee merely flipped him the bird.
Dawn: He walked out of the room, dressed in a lavish dynast outfit.
Dawn: "...I'm going to kill myself."
Dawn: "And take you fuckers with me."
Fire aspect: (Keahi has demon guts all over her, doesn't she?)
