About halfway through lockdown and it looks like we will be coming out of it on the prescribed date, i.e. next Tuesday, which is good news. There will still be restrictions though.

Ir'a cold and miserable outside so I'm staying indoors where it's warm.

I get my second COVID jab tomorrow. It was supposed to be next Tuesday but the surgery rang and asked if we could come in tomorrow instead. Yay, get it over and done with and hope there are no side effects. The first jab was fine, no problems, ( Read more... )

My last update was February and quite a bit has happened since then.

There’s been a trip to Victoria to visit daughter, son and grandchildren - the first time since 2019 we’ve been able to see our son and granddaughter. She’s grown a lot of course and so have the grandsons, the oldest of whom is up to my shoulder in height now. It won’t be long ( Read more... )

It’s awhile since I did an update, not that much has been happening. We had plans for trips to see grandchildren, but of course they didn’t happen due to the closure of all state borders at one time or another. It’s June, how did that happen!? It came as a surprise, May seemed like it would be around forever, then suddenly it vanished and here we are, half the year gone already. And I feel like I’ve been standing still for most of it*sigh*
