About halfway through lockdown and it looks like we will be coming out of it on the prescribed date, i.e. next Tuesday, which is good news. There will still be restrictions though.
And it’s cold! Storms have been coming through all day and there was a lightning strike right over our house that frightened the bejesus out of me, and the dogs, judging by their stunned looks. The cat didn’t stir.
Anyway, I promised a picspam
To start off, cockatoos and a magpie
We took a walk along the Goulbourn River at Seymour, which is very pretty
The Victorian heritage-listed old Goulburn River bridge
a dairy farm along the walk
And there was bird life of course
A female superb fairy wren
And here's the male
some crimson rosellas
The more arty stuff, this one taken in the rain
And a close-up-water river shot
Think that's enough for now.
The gang came to us for Easter so I'll post some more photos of where we went and what we did later.
