Whoa!
I was hired back last week at the same place that laid me off at the end of November, so my severance package basically gave me December off, and then I was rehired.
The even better news is that I got a job offer today from a company that I interviewed with about a month ago, and they are going to pay me TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS more than I'm currently making. Yup, an extra grand a month. I took a few moments after reading the letter to jump around in excitement. Well, more than a few moments. I'm very, very, happy to say the least.
I have grand plans for this cash - more contributions to my 401k and IRA, more to save for house related repairs, and the beginnings of saving for an over and under shotgun! Sweet, sweet Browning, you will soon be mine!
