Happy Groundhog Day!!!
I found some pirate Valentines at Borders and took advantage of my employee discount to buy them...which means that 20 lucky friends will recieve some corny pirate jokes in the mail sometime in the near future.
I'm scheduled to work on the Sunday for the first time since the second week of December--good thing that I have understanding friends who didn't mind me cancelling on our little SuperBowl shindig. But, on the other hand, that meant that I was able to have Monday off to drive down to Houghton to listen to Donald Miller's chapel address and evening lecture. I'm excited. I'm a dork. =) Anybody else interested in coming to Houghotn on monday?
I feel kind of bad for Punxatawny Phil--he probably didn't want to get up today and see his shadow in the glare of the tv cameras. Spring my butt--we're under a lake effect snow advisory tonight and also have been warned about subzero temperatures on Sunday evening!
I loved Grey's Anatomy last night--I'm not only glad that Cristina and Callie said yes--in their own special ways--but also psyched that George stood up to Izzie and the other interns and defended Calliope Evangeline Torres.
Anyone else counting down the days until Lost comes back on??!! =)
