Apparently Andrew Lloyd Webber is producing a stage sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, to open in 2009.  I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this.  I love Phantom.  And yet, sequels have a way of being... well, of being shit, to put it bluntly.  And yet, it's Andrew Lloyd Webber.  I'm so confused.  I want to be excited about this, and yet something inside of me...  has a very bad feeling about this.

I hope Michael Crawford is available, otherwise it ain't Phantom. Dig?
